Downtown Denver’s Tree Lighting Ceremony
The grand illumination of all things Christmas in downtown Denver happens November 28th! The beautiful lighting displays from 16th st mall to Larimer Square and everything in between shows off Denver’s unique holiday atmosphere. Get in the holiday spirit with festivities at Denver Union Station beginning at 5:30 with the count down to the lighting of the lights at 6:30.
Olde Golden Christmas Parade
This classic old fashioned Christmas is a family must. Located in downtown Golden on December 6th, 13th and 20th at 11am, there will be a hometown parade showcasing floats, clowns, Christmas characters, music, Santa and even his elves! Catch a free horse drawn carriage ride or kids can enjoy a complimentary ride on a Newfoundland dog cart!
Annual Georgetown Christmas Market
This annual tradition has been going on for 54 years. The European inspired market features handcrafted gifts, horse-drawn wagon rides, carolers, roasted chestnuts, St Nicholas, all in the quaint old world charm of Georgetown. Beginning December 6th, the market will be open from 10am to 5pm on the 6th and 7th and 13th and 14th.
