To Wear or Not To Wear, What To Wear To a Party!

White Tie
Men: Black dress coat, white pique wing collared shirt with stiff front. Be sure to wear shirt studs and cuff links, along with a white vest and white bow tie. You are also to wear white or gray gloves and black patent shoes with black dress socks.
Women: Formal floor length evening or ball gown attire with optional long gloves.
Black Tie
Men: Wear a black tuxedo jacket and matching trousers with a formal white shirt. Wear shirt studs and cuff links with a black bow tie, black cummerbund with black patent shoes and black dress socks. Black tie does not require gloves.
Women: Formal floor length evening gown or a dressy cocktail dress will also do. Now would be the opportune time to pull out your dressy ‘little black dress’!
Black Tie Optional
Men: Tuxedo, or dark suit with white dress shirt and conservative tie.
Women: Formal floor length evening gown, dressy cocktail dress, or dressy separates will also work!
Semiformal
Men: Dark business suit with matching optional vest with dress shirt and tie.
Women: A short afternoon or cocktail dress or long dressy skirt with top.
Festive Attire
Men: Seasonal sport coat or blazer in color of choice with open collar shirt and tie. The tie can be a festive or holiday theme if you would like.
Women: Cocktail dress or a long dressy skirt and top. A dressy pants outfit or separates in holiday colors is also accepted!
Business Casual
Men: Sport coat or blazer with slacks, dress shirt or open collar polo. A tie is optional and loafers are acceptable.
Women: Dress or pants with an open collar shirt or sweater is expected. Spaghetti straps or décolleté top are generally not accepted.
Dressy Casual
Men: Seasonal sport coat or blazer with slacks and dress shirt, or open collar polo shirt
Women: This is when you can wear a nice pair of jeans and dressy top with heals! A dress or dressy pants outfit would also suffice.
