Venue Highlight – Boettcher Mansion

Switching it up from our first venue highlight of The Venue at Flying Horse Ranch, who just celebrated their first full wedding season, we’re so excited to share the historical Boettcher Mansion with you today! Celebrating it’s 100th year, Boettcher was built in 1917 as a summer home and seasonal hunting lodge for Charles Boettcher and his family (can you imagine?!) and now serves as Jefferson County’s premier event venue. As you drive up to the gorgeous Arts & Crafts style mansion, you find yourself immersed in nature. Surrounded by 110 acres of forest, but close to the amenities of the city, Boettcher appeals to both the low key, laid back nature and adventure enthusiasts as well as those who appreciate and are in search of a little history. How many venues can say they hosted both your AND your parents’ weddings?! finished-301 (640x427)Laura & Kevin (1) (800x534)

When you visit Boettcher Mansion, you’ll have no doubt you’re in Colorado. Large, mature pines serve as its backdrop, while the home itself was built using native timbers and stones. Everything you expect Colorado to be? You’ll find it here. The moment you walk through the front door you feel an incredible sense of warmth. Welcoming and inviting, the popularity of Boettcher Mansion has skyrocketed in recent months. This is to no surprise for anyone who has worked with the staff there. Beyond the perfect location and historical beauty, Boettcher prides itself on its quality customer service, event staff longevity (many employees have been there between 7-18 years!), and inclusion and support of ALL types of love. Dressing quarters are not labeled by “bride” and “groom”, allowing the venue to truly speak to all types of couples. Love is love is love.

The perks to planning your wedding or event at Boettcher Mansion are truly endless. Do you hope to celebrate late into the night? No problem. They can rent out the space until 2am for events. This is a huge advantage for you night owls, as most venues require you to be out much earlier. Is your best friend your dog and you couldn’t image getting married without him there? Also no problem! The entire site is dog friendly, so no need to worry about not being able to include Fido. Do you brew your own beer or have an uncle who owns a winery? Boettcher Mansion is one of few venues that allows you to bring in your own alcohol. As long as you have hired a professional bartender to serve it for your guests, you’re good to go!

We couldn’t love this venue more and consider ourselves fortunate to serve as Boettcher Mansion’s exclusive rental company. If you’re in the midst of planning your wedding – or a corporate meeting, team building event, small party, or even memorial service – you’ll definitely want to consider this venue. Site tours are scheduled based on availability, but generally run Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm.
