Winter Rum Punchdrinks and cocktail bar

Festively served in a glass mug, this traditional cocktail will keep guests warm while KAO entertained.

Ingredients: 6 oranges, cloves, 1 bottle rum, ½ c. superfine sugar, ½ gallon sweet apple cider

Instructions: Stud oranges with cloves and bake until soft. Place them in a punch bowl and add rum and sugar. Set fire to the rum and in a few minutes begin slowly adding cider, which will extinguish the flames. Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg, keep the mixture hot for serving.

Irish Coffee

What can get better than whiskey, sugar, coffee, and cream in a cup? The perfect after-dinner drink to serve along with dessert.

Ingredients: 2 ounces Irish Whiskey, 6 ounces Coffee, 2 tsp brown sugar, heavy cream

drink to warm you upInstructions: Pour whiskey, coffee, and sugar into a stemmed heated glass mug. Stir, then top with a thick layer of lightly whipped heavy cream. Enjoy!

Hot Buttered Rum

Otherwise known as a hot toddy, this classic drink is a favorite!

Ingredients: 2 sugar cubes, water, 2 ounces dark rum, pat of butter

Instructions: In a mug, dissolve sugar in a little hot water. Add the rum and unsalted butter. Fill the mug with hot water and sprinkle nutmeg on top. You can also sub cider for the water and add cinnamon to the top as well!
