St Patricks Day Brunch For Kids
Host a top o’ the morning St Patty’s Day Brunch for your little leprechauns this St Patrick’s Day! Colorado Party Rentals has a few ideas to help celebrate St Patrick. Green and Gold
St. Patricks’ Day can’t be complete without green and, of course, gold! With a few key food elements dressed in green, decorate the venue in gold for the full St Patricks Day effect. Give chocolate gold wrapped coins as favors, and decorate the door with gold and green streamers.
Green Pancakes
Instead of dumping a bottle of green food coloring into your children’s pancakes, make spinach pancakes. This will color the pancakes without the sugar! For your pots of gold, use green bell peppers and slice in half from top to bottom, this will make your shamrock that you can fill with your golden eggs. Cook scrambled eggs and place inside your shamrock peppers!
Leprechaun Activities
Bell Pepper Stamps
Aside from using bell peppers for your pot of gold, you can also use them to make your three or four leaf clover stamps. When picking your peppers, look at the bottom to see if there are three or four sections. Purchase a variety of both. Cut off the top of the pepper and remove core and seeds. Dry the cut surface and apply paint to the cut surface with a paintbrush. Press onto paper and voila, a shamrock!
Treasure Hunt!
Send the leprechauns on a treasure hunt for the pot o’ gold! Give them each a secret map with clues to the Lucky Leprechaun’s treasure. Write clues to locations inside or outside your home, with more clues hidden at the next location.
