Colorado and Summit Party Rentals Unite at Annual Summit

March 2024 marked a significant milestone for Colorado and Summit Party Rentals as we gathered for our 3rd annual Summit conference. Titled “Gaining Traction,” this year’s Summit focused on the crucial themes of building a robust core team, gaining traction in the industry, and investing in the growth and development of our talented staff. It provided an opportunity for employees from all four of our locations to foster collaboration, share insights, and strengthen the bonds within each department and team.

The foundation of any successful business lies in its core team. Recognizing this, our Summit began with a deliberate focus on team building activities aimed at fortifying the bonds between colleagues. The opening night kicked off with a friendly bowling competition, setting the tone for a collaborative and engaging two days ahead.

Throughout the conference, participants engaged in a series of team-building exercises designed to enhance communication, foster camaraderie, and promote teamwork. The tug of war competition proved to be a highlight, allowing team members to work together, strategize, and experience the thrill of collective success.

The main theme of “Gaining Traction” was explored by pinpointing strategies and insights to propel both Colorado and Summit Party Rentals forward in the competitive event rental industry.

Our Director of Sales spoke about the synergy and collaboration among our various departments and how it can be likened to the intricate dynamics of a wolf pack. Just as a wolf pack relies on the unique strengths and roles of its members to thrive, our different teams must do so as well.

Our Operations Director talked about the profound concepts of control and pain, highlighting the intrinsic connection between the two. The discourse revolved around the idea that true empowerment lies in recognizing and accepting the limits of one’s control. Both offered valuable perspectives on how we can work together to stand out in the crowded event market.

Workshops, Activities, and awards!

Recognizing that the success of any company is inextricably tied to the growth and well-being of its employees. This year’s Summit emphasized the importance of investing in our core team. Workshops and seminars focused on professional development, leadership training, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Participants were encouraged to share their experiences and insights, creating a platform for mutual learning and growth.

To complement the conference themes, a series of engaging team-building activities were integrated into the schedule. The five senses game challenged participants to rely on their sensory perceptions, fostering creativity and teamwork. The get-to-know-each-other trivia encouraged a lighthearted atmosphere, allowing team members to discover fun facts about their colleagues. This culminated in an End-of-Summit point tally where three lucky teams won custom T-shirts.

Don’t worry, we also had a raffle where we gave away weekend getaways for two, TVs, Tablets, and $$$.

Our 3rd Annual Summit Conference, “Gaining Traction,” proved to be a resounding success for Colorado and Summit Party Rentals. By focusing on building a strong core team, gaining traction in the industry, and investing in the growth of our employees, we have set the stage for continued success and collaboration as we go into the 2024 event season.
